In light of recent tragic events, we are asking you to come together for a photo series showing that it is possible to love each other, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion (or even political views). It is important for us all to choose acceptance over prejudice or judgment, and to say yes to love, instead of hate.
For this shoot, we will be putting everyone's name into a hat and then drawing out 2 names at a time. We will then ask you to pose for a photo with the person whose name was drawn along side of yours. The other person is likely to be a complete stranger, (but that's the idea!) and we ask you to show them love in the photo: give them a big bear hug, tell them a joke, hold hands, lay your head on their shoulder, kiss them on the cheek, a polite arm around the back, whatever you're both comfortable with.
Please join us as an “exaggerated version” of yourself! Because this is a still image, we want you to express your lifestyle, beliefs, interests, etc as overtly as possible. We want to flaunt our differences, and show that love is the only commonality we truly need. #yeslove
