Democrats at OKC Pride

Join Oklahoma County Democrats and the Oklahoma Democratic Party at the 2016 OKC Pride Parade and Festival! Please walk with us in the parade on Sunday, June 26th, and/or work the Oklahoma Democrats booth during the festival throughout the weekend. The first 40 people to sign up will receive a free t-shirt to wear at the festival and/or during the parade. Festival Saturday, June 25th 10:00AM - 8:00PM Sunday, June 26th 10:00AM - 4:00PM Parade Sunday, June 26th 6:00PM Festival volunteers can choose 2-hour shifts. Parade walkers should plan to be at the ODP float by 5:00PM. Float/meet-up location will be sent by email. ATTENTION: 2016 Security Information ATTENTION: 2016 OKC Pride Security Changes Due to recent events and our continued concern for the safety and security of our attendees, OKC Pride, in conjunction with Oklahoma City Police, Oklahoma County Sheriff, FBI and our private security, will institute the following changes at OKC Pride 2016: • Entry to the festival area will be available only through designated gates (see map below) • No vehicles will be allowed into the festival area except during designated loading times • None of the following will be allowed into the festival: • No Firearms or Weapons of any kind • No Coolers • No Backpacks or Duffle Bags • No outside food or beverages • No illegal substances • Personal handbags or purses will be admitted but are subject to inspection by security • Anyone wishing to purchase alcoholic beverages must obtain a wristband by showing valid ID • Handicapped parking will be available off NW 40th behind Expressions Community Center We apologize for any inconvenience these additional security procedures may cause.
