Hi friends...It's here! We're less than a month away from the 2012 AIDS Walk & 5k Run...scheduled for Sunday, September 23rd at the newly renovated Myriad Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City.
As always the event is FREE & open to the public. Walk teams and individual participants can register by visiting www.aidswalkokc.org. You can also sign up the day of the walk. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the walk steps off at 2 p.m.

Walking not your thing? Once again Dell is the proud sponsor of our fourth annual 5k run..which kicks off at 9 a.m. in Bricktown. Runners can either register online at www.aidswalkokc.org or at the Newcastle Bricktown Ballpark. Registration is $20 in advance and $25 the day of the run.
This year we're also adding a pooch parade and fashion show. The registration fee is $5 and dogs strutting their stuff must be dressed to the nines and on a leash. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. followed by the fashion show at 1 p.m.
Please visit www.aidswalkokc.org to start your walk team, signup for the 5k or start your First Giving donation page to email out to friends and family. Trophies will be given for the team with the most walkers, the walk team that raises the most money, the individual who raises the most money and the individual or team who has raised the most money online at FIRST GIVING.
In addition, vendor space is free to anyone wanting to set up at the event. Interested individuals and organizations should send an email to info@aidswalkokc.org to request space. Tables and chairs must be provided by vendors.
